Monday, August 23rd @6:30 pm-NNU concurrent credit parent meeting in McKnight-Bryant Center

 

            Open House/Barnyard Bash

 

  When:  Friday, August 27th

              6:30:               FOLK FEST (a musical folk song revue presented by first through sixth grade students)

              7:00-7:30    Meet and greet the teacher

              7:00-9:30     Barnyard Bash—chili dogs, potato salad, corn, cotton candy, doughnuts  

What:      It’s a carnival with a dunk tank, bungee run, cotton candy, pop bottle bowling, sumo suits, guitar

                   hero live   music, an auction, dinner and dessert, AND SO MUCH MORE.     

Why:           To meet and greet the teacher, to have a family fun night out and to celebrate our 2010 alumni.

So, pardners, rig up the ol’ wagon, load up the family, head on out to the BARNYARD BASH

 

 

 

2010-2011 Victory Charter School Athletics

 

The following sports will be offered at our school for the 2010-2011 school year.

 Jr. High Teams are only for grades 7 & 8.

 

Information regarding start up of sports will be given to students, on our web site and in our newsletters.

 

 High School and Jr. High Cross Country in the fall (Our Jr. High Boys’ team once again took the Conference title for 1A in the WIC conference 2009)

 Jr. High Girls Volleyball

 Jr. High Girls’ Basketball

Jr. High Boys’ Basketball

High School Varsity and JV Boys’ Basketball

High School JV Girls’ Basketballl

High School and Jr. High Track & Field (Boys’ Jr. High team once again took the Conference title for 1A in the WIC conference 2009)

High School Boys and Girls Varsity and JV Golf

High School & Jr. High Snow Team (January through mid-February at Bogus Basin)  (Jr. High

includes 6th grade for this sport only)

High School Swimming (mid-August through October through the Nampa Swim Team @ the Nampa Rec. Center)

If a sport is not offered at Victory Charter School, your son or daughter may dual enroll and try out for a Liberty team or the school in your zone of residence for the Nampa School District.

This is according to the current IHSSA rules and guidelines handbook.

*At this time Snow Skiing/Boarding and Swimming are not IHSSA sanctioned sports.
